At Zan's Mission, we want to make a Godly impact by empowering individuals with special needs, their families, and communities through essential resources, education, and support. It raises awareness, advocates for inclusion, and fosters belonging through community activities. By offering faith-based programs, the Organization enhances lives and expands access to vital services. Committed to God’s guidance, it ensures every individual thrives in a supportive, inclusive society by faith.
Zan has always had barriers since utero. From preterm labor being stopped, gestational diabetes, and mom struggling with blackouts; Zan was resilient while comfy in his mommy's belly. God made sure that he was going to make his appearance in the world in true Zan fashion!
Our family turned to our church family during the difficulties of his birth due to heart defects, lack of oxygen to the lower limbs, and SVT episodes. As time went on, Zan was diagnosed with Autism Level 2 (with Level 3 symptoms) and Epilepsy. Our family learned so much from Zan with his strong will, his consistent laugher, his grace during our frustrations, and his exciting energy!
We have always been blessed with such a strong church family, love from grandparents and great grandparents; but the never failing love and strength from God is what kept us all going in all times that we felt loss, lack of support, lack of connection, and found many barriers.
Our family takes our Christian faith as the utmost priority it should be. We have strongly believed that Zan's journey has led us to embrace our relationship with God more endearingly. We feel that Zan was blessed to us as a silent missionary from God to help guide our family in our journey. Zan's missionary work doesn't end with us.... it continues to YOU too!
Zan touches the heart of each individual he connects with. Zan has a great skill of showing us the silent love that God encourages us to embrace. That love and grace can be discovered in many ways; which is what our Nonprofit encourages of our volunteers, members, and community! We want to reach our community and fill in the gaps of support that special needs individuals and their families need! We want to help God, help our community!
